Use of the leuK formula, symbols, or visual identity — in profit, non-profit, governmental, or educational contexts — is open to all who act under license and in harmony with its ethical core. In essence: free to share, empowered to use, licensed to protect.
Who Oversees the leuK Mark?
Three connected foundations steward leuK’s integrity and permission system. Each safeguards a specific dimension of the leuK identity:
1. leuK Intellectual Property Foundation
Holds the exclusive legal ownership of all intellectual property related to leuK — including the formula l .: e .: u = K, the amplifier symbol “.:”, the unique K icon, and the complete visual language. Its purpose is to preserve authenticity while granting permission through structured licensing. All users — individuals, organizations, or institutions — obtain permission through this foundation.

2. leuK Licensing Foundation
Manages the global licensing process. Every request for use — commercial, non-commercial, educational, or governmental — is reviewed for alignment with the four leuK principles: logical, ethical and universal action and the Karmic Path of The Golden Rule. Licensing ensures that leuK may be widely used, never misused: openness balanced by responsibility. Licenses are available for:
- creative or academic use (non-profit license);
- commercial distribution (profit license);
- public and institutional projects (governmental/educational license).

3. leuKmakers Foundation
Oversees content, communication, and coherence. It maintains leuK.design, the brand architecture, and all symbolic and narrative materials. The foundation guarantees that every expression of leuK remains faithful to its source, design, and universal intent. It does not issue licenses itself but collaborates with the Licensing Foundation to verify ethical and visual consistency.
How Decisions Are Made
Each license or request follows a principle-led review, based on four guiding questions:
- Is the use logically constructed?
- Is the use ethically sound?
- Is the use universal in intent and impact?
- Does it contribute to walking the Karmic Path of The Golden Rule?
When these conditions are met, a licensed path opens. When clarity is needed, dialogue begins.

leuK governance values conversation over control. Dialogue exists within the framework of permission: it refines use, strengthens coherence, and preserves integrity. By engaging in dialogue before applying leuK elements, users join its stewardship — ensuring harmony between freedom and protection.

For example, a graphic designer who wishes to include the leuK formula l .: e .: u = K in a poster or exhibition request a Creative License, allowing experimental and educational use with proper attribution.
A non-profit organization that wants to apply the leuK symbol as part of an awareness campaign obtains a Non-Commercial License, ensuring the message aligns with leuK’s ethical principles.
And a company that intends to integrate the leuK Mark into its product or brand design applies for a Commercial License, contributing to the stewardship fund that protects and sustains the leuK identity worldwide.
